Some carriers we work with do not allow agents to be dually contracted. That means you cannot be appointed through multiple general agencies. While each company has their own policy, it is not always an easy switch. There could be additional paperwork needed, a release letter from the prior general agent, or even a waiting period. All of these scenarios will hold up pending applications. To avoid any

issues, please inform us if you are already contracted with an insurance carrier before submitting business to KAFL. We can then make sure your licensing is all ready to go for new business.

Notable carriers that do NOT allow dual licensing:
American National
Mutual of Omaha
Security Mutual
